Educational film on the phenomenon of white alpine streams. The phenomenon was investigated in the Val Lavirun, Engadin, Swiss Alps, under the lead of the University of Bern. The publication of the study triggered numerous reports about other white streams in the Alps. Most of them are located in the area of thawing permafrost.
