2019 Latvian Field Ration MRE Review Menu 8 Pork Buckwheat Stew Taste Testing

Latvian Rations have almost double the calorie content of US MRE's, yet they're virtually the same exact size and weight. The food itself is of good quality. Once heated up, the main courses almost taste homemade. With a pack of rye bread, delicious almonds & raisins, and even a dried rice cereal, it features some excellent sit-down and on-the-go food components that really add a nice balance to the ration overall. I'd say it still has room for improvement, but all in all, it's not bad!
