Norma bates | over the love

I should have fleshed out my ideas better on this video, but lack of time and my restlessness got in the way. My idea when I started the video was to show her she has been abused, and how this has deeply affected her and her relationships. I believe that being always the victim, she saw in Norman someone to protect and somebody who was willingly to let her protect him (baah her relationship with Dylan is so much more interesting, they need their own video). At least once, she could feel in control, be the protector, be the mother... Shelby comes along and for the first time someone who is not Norman takes care of her. I think that's why she "fell" for him so quickly. I think this is probably how her relationship with Norman's father began... (I don't know why I'm writing all of this) Tiny bit about her being hopeful and, even after all the horrible things she went through, being able to believe her life can get better. Okay, I really need to make a better fleshed out video for Norma, such a fascinating character! And Vera Farmiga is wonderful. My inspiration for this video was this (/watch/)gv74V9vV3A_V7 .
