INTALG 9.4: Rules for Logarithms

Building on the basic definition of logarithm and cancellation laws, we describe four more rules for logarithms. The first three correspond to exponent rules: products, quotients and powers. The fourth rule gives a recipe for numerical calculation with calculator functions.
