@145232015143 years ago To all those mommies watching this video and feeling guilty that you are not doing enough for your kid believe me when i say this. You are doing the best i watched this video when my first son was 2 years old coz he didnt speak a word not even mama and i felt so guilty thinking i wasnt doing enough but now with my second son, he is 11 months old and is as responsive as the girl in this video.
and i didnt do anything different with my second son. Its just how different both my kids are.
my message to all moms. Every kid learns at theirs own pace no matter what you do

@kae4xoxoxo4 years ago This was so helpful. Thank you! I did find myself feeling a bit guilty watching this because i wish i could stay home all day and spend time with my id="hidden2" son to teach him myself vs sending him to daycare. Working a 9-5 is necessary, but it doesnt stop the guilt. Moms who are able to stay home with their babies are truly fortunate and blessed. ...Expand 204

@danirose59245 years ago Omg you are seriously my mom twin! Me and you do everything the same! With the books and the magnets with the baking dish haha same! And i have always talked to my daughter non stop i tell her everything im doing. We also do a lot of singing so she knows so many songs! I also let her watch educational shows i love little baby bum en espaol shes literally learned so much from them! We have so much play time together but a few minutes a day while im cooking for her or something i think is totally fine. I also do a lot of teaching with her in the bath just like you making everything fun and exciting! My daughter just turned two she knows how to count to 10 in english / spanish she learned a while ago the whole entire alphabet, she knows so many animals/ their sounds and now im working on colors and shapes with her. Everyone jokes on me like wow shes so advanced theyre going to kick her out of kindergarten when she gets there shes going to be the teacher lol but when you really take that one on one time as their mama to teach them they learn sooo much! I just found your channel and im so glad i did! Great job mama!. ...Expand 3

@joliescott68453 years ago My one year old was refusing to walk and always crawled around fast because its easier. I remembered that when she first learned to crawl she cried a id="hidden44"nd id image its because its mentally challenging to make those pathways in her brain at the beginning id be frustrated too! She would stand up in the middle of the room by herself and lift her head up drinking her sippy cup and you could tell she is able to walk but hasnt had the confidence to take any steps. If i came up to her and held her hands and tried to get her to she would go limp and sit down and refuse. Eventually i was like ok no more of this were not crawling any more for the next 30 minutes and held her hands and forced her to stand and if she tried to go limp i would continue to hold her up until she put her feet on the ground. Eventually she got frustrated enough and wanted to get around and started walking perfectly as long as she had my hands! She cried for the first 5 minutes of walking and you could see the wheels turning and just like when she learned to crawl it must be hard for her brain! Shes still building her confidence but now is walking around if i initiate it and will hold one of my hands standing next to her. It was hard and hurt my heart to make her do it and see her cry but it was defiantly worth it in the long run!. ...Expand
