Is there a correlation between skin and mind? Can stress cause skin problems like pimples, itch or rosazea? I am Dr. Liv. I am a board certified dermatologist with focus on lifestyle dermatology with my clinic in Switzerland and will talk about this topic. Indeed there is a correlation between skin and mind. But more important is also your behaviour towards your skin while stressed. There is research showing that stress increase your chemical response in your body and makes your skin harder to heal. Yours stress hormones like corticol is increasing your oi production and if you start picking in your face, you therefore increase your bacterial overload on your skin. It results in pimples. Therefore -stop picking -be aware how often you touch your face -wash your hands before touching your face -reduce your stress level -go for a walk -sleep at least 8 hours -make time for yourself. and -say no, figure out your personal limits Folgt mir hier !
