@happycruiser2 years ago I always felt safe on a cruise ship. I was on one in Asia where we had over 150 people with Norwalk. So COVID seems like a breeze compared to that. I think most lines will opt in, they want to keep people safe and be open and honest. I just wish we could know numbers on the ship, rather than a generic colour, and would like to know the breakdown between guests and staff. ... 3

@happycruiser2 years ago LOL...the bread basket can always be the death of you. I would eat before hand, then eat more with my escargot. I also only allow myself to have dessert when it is something that I would not be able to get at home. So pie and cake are no in, something special like baked alaska would be in. But we do drink like a fish. No cutbacks there! I love working my way through the Margarita menu. ... 1

@GugaandRob2 years ago Hey Jordan, watching the replay…I have also heard some customer service agents being verbally abused over the lack of expectations, such as no hot cocoa and cookies lol. I am serious! We don’t expect ANYTHING from the cruise line for changes they had to make. The fact many cruise lines go above and beyond is just a testament to their company wanting to satisfy customers. ...

@happycruiser2 years ago We have always received a wonderful military member cruise credit (Cdn military) on both Celebrity and Princess. Sometimes as a discount on the cruise, sometimes as a cruise credit.

He did mention there were separate lines for drinks, I can't remember what he said about food. But that one cruise turned him off to cruising. I'm trying to convince him to give cruising another try. ...

@happycruiser2 years ago Like you said, you would get nothing before COVID, so should still be the same. I am always just thankful to be on vacation and on the ship. Ports are a nice extra.

@lindakauppi67852 years ago I think that as a measure of good faith to keep customers informed all cruise lines should opt into the CDC guidelines and be shown on the colour coded chart as they have been since the restart. 1

In the meantime, I'm doing a cruise in April on Navigator and June will be my first NCL cruise in the Baltics. I have to watch on replay since I live in Long Beach. Love your new show. I already did a NY eve cruise on Carnival Radiance and feel very safe cruising over anything else. ...

@bettyo50852 years ago On one of our cruises the prior cruise was a charter. The entire ship was a Nude Cruise. I brought a large Lysol spray and sprayed everything. Clothing had to be on in MDR. Everywhere else nothing. We asked a crew member..

Customer Service is a brutal job. I worked retail for 29 years and I was yelled at/ verbally used way too often. I work in a very music downtown emergency room 3rd shift and I got yelled at in retail way more. Everyone, please respect your customer service workers.

I am so excited for my Alaska cruise in May. 1st time visiting.
Chartered cruises: we are not chartered but I cant wait to see the comments from cruisers on the ship that are not in our Vloggers group cruise next January. LOL

How people can react to the smallest thing etc 🤦‍♀️ and be very unfriendly,Rude ungrateful.

@RobKruss2 years ago There is no downside to opting into the CDC program. Not opting in would actually be a red flag for me. I would be very unlikely to want to book a ship with a "grey" rating.
