Alternative names for the snack include kachauri, kachodi and katchuri. In Delhi it is often served as chaat. Delhi also has another kind of kachoris, called 'Khasta kachori' or 'Raj Kachori', Moth Kachori, 'was (fast) kachori, made with potato, coconut, and sugar.
