Today I will be showing you how to make this Lebanese beef stew with fasolia beans (pinto beans), it's kind of like a Lebanese version of a chili 🌶 This dish is served with a side of Lebanese style rice, OR just plain steam rice.
* BTW, THE RICE IS IN A BEAR SHAPE *
INGREDIENTS
- Beef chunks (It's your choice how much meat you want to put in this stew)
- 10 Cloves of Garlic
- 1 Whole Onion (any kind, I'm only using red because that's all I have on hand)
- 1/2 of the batch of cilantro (LOL what kind of measurement is that?)
- 1/2 bag of pinto beans
- 1 TSP Cinnamon powder (you can also use cinnamon sticks)
- 1 TBSP Lebanese 7 Spices
- Salt and pepper
- 3/4 can tomato paste
- Vegetable broth
- 3 Bay leaves
- Pure Olive Oil
- OPTIONAL: 1 TBSP Cane sugar
- OPTIONAL: 1 Cube Knorr Chicken Bouillon
