Humanity has been exploring the Solar System for hundreds of years, but as we can see, it still holds certain mysteries. This time, they concern the area beyond Neptune, the mysterious Kuiper Belt, where allegedly the so-called Planet X is located, marking the outer boundary of the Solar System. However, as it turns out, this assumption may be incorrect. According to a group of researchers from the Canadian Herzberg Astronomy and Astrophysics Research Centre, the Kuiper Belt is probably just one of two such formations at the fringes of the Solar System. Scientists claim that the second belt, which also contains various cosmic objects of different sizes, is located beyond Pluto and is separated from the Kuiper Belt by empty space extending up to 50 astronomical units.
