Step inside and take a 360-degree tour of the Wing Luke Museum, one of the country’s premier pan-Asian Pacific American museums. Named after the late Wing Chong Luke, a former Seattle City Councilmember and the first Asian American to hold an elected office in the state, the Wing Luke Museum uses almost 20,000 artifacts to share the story of nearly 40 ethnic groups that call the Puget Sound area home. From Seattle’s first Chinese, Japanese, and Filipino laborers, to leading APA voices in feminism, to confronting Asian Pacific American stereotypes, explore this one-of-a-kind museum located in the heart of the Chinatown-International District. Narrated by Rahul Gupta Life Wide Angle/Close Up exhibit curator: Carina A. del Rosario Artists: Dean Wong, Mel Ponder, Andrew Hida and the Chinatown Art Brigade collective View the City of Seattle's commenting policy: seattle.gov/online-comment-policy
