Here is some footage of a Carpet Python crossing a creek between sand dunes in Old Bar, New South Wales in December 2017. I saw this animal while making another video about coastal processes. The Carpet Python, also known as the Diamond Python is a large non venomous snake found in mainland Australia. Their main diet consists of frogs, lizards, birds and mammals including wallabies, possums and rodents.
