Follow along as I show you how to add a Syrian flair to rice! Careful not to burn the vermicelli! Rice + Ghee + Vermicelli + Salt: The sum really is more than the parts! Don't skimp on the ghee!
Ingredients
1c Basmati Rice
1/4c Vermicelli
1tsp ghee or more ;)
1tsp salt
2c water
Brown Vermicelli in hot ghee, careful this cooks quick! Add rice, water, and salt. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to lowest and let sit for 20min.
