BEST OF NEW ORLEANS (FRENCH QUARTER & SWAMP TOUR)

New Orleans, or NOLA, is a city that is known for food, music, and Mardi Gras. After leaving Costa Rica, we flew into New Orleans. We stayed for a little over a week. While in New Orleans, we visited friends and family, ate delicious food, and did a little sightseeing. Some highlights of our New Orleans trip were: Cafe Du Monde (beignets and coffee) Jackson Square (musicians, artists, and St. Louis Cathedral|) Pat O'Brien's (Hurricanes) Royal House (oysters) Tropical Isle (Hand Grenades) Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop (oldest bar in New Orleans) We also did a swamp tour with Cajun Encounters while visiting Louisiana on another day. The swamp tour was in the Honey Island Swamp.
