Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss are two of Iceland's most popular waterfalls. We visited both of them as well as Reynisfjara Beach while making our way along Iceland's southern coast. ❗️Please SUBSCRIBE - New videos on TUESDAYS and FRIDAYS ❗️ 00:00 Intro 01:03 SELJALANDSFOSS WATERFALL Seljalandsfoss is such a special waterfall because you can actually walk directly behind it. There is a cave behind the waterfall that you can stand in and admire Seljalandsfoss from a different perspective. It is rare to be able to go behind a waterfall, so this one is definitely worth a visit. We walked all the way around the waterfall up a steep and slippery terrain. It was sunny when we visited, so we got to see a rainbow as well. The night before visiting Seljalandsfoss, we camped in our van at the campsite right next to the waterfall. It was a pretty cool experience to wake up and see the waterfalls. 05:33 SKOGAFOSS WATERFALL Skogafoss is one of Iceland's biggest waterfalls. It has a drop of 60m and a width of 25m. We were so lucky when we arrived at Skogafoss because it was a sunny day, so we could see a rainbow. We were both staring in awe with the biggest smiles on our faces. We got up close to the waterfall to take pictures and got very wet from the spray. We also climbed up the many stairs to get views of Skogafoss from above. I think that I'd have to say that Skogafoss gets my vote as Iceland's best waterfall. There is just something extra magical seeing it on a sunny day with a beautiful rainbow. 08:46 REYNISFJARA BEACH Iceland's most famous beach is definitely Reynisfjara. You can't swim in the water because the current is very strong, but it is so popular because of its unique black sand. The sand gets its color because of volcanic ash. Walking along the beach, we got a feel for how powerful the waves really are. There are signs at the entrance to the beach alerting everyone that sneaker waves can occur and carry you out to sea if you aren't careful. We also found a really unique sea cave along the beach that is made out of dark basalt columns. While we were in the cave, we could see a seal swimming in the water. We had a nice afternoon at Reynisfjara Beach. We cooked our lunch in the parking lot, and were able to see a beautiful sunset as we were leaving. 16:07 Closing 16:58 Day 4 Sneak Peak 17:12 Outtakes #Iceland #IcelandWaterfalls Travel Vlog #68 | Seljalandsfoss, Skogafoss, and Reynisfjara - Iceland | Filmed September 2021 Epidemic Sound: Green Summer by Qeeo Mumbai by Ooyy Ragtime by peerless _____________________________ ABOUT US Hi everyone!
